SCOUTING REPORT:  Marquis is a 2018 graduate; he has a 2.9 GPA / ACT 23; plays G/SF; he has been on the varsity basketball team for 4-years; and his team was the WIAA 3A State Champion. He will no doubt perform exceptionally well at the college level in the capacity of a basketball team player and as a student. Marquis is extremely quick on his feet, being able to out manoeuvre and out speed most of his opponents at the point guard position. He is also relatively strong for a guard being able to outmuscle and outrebound even some bigger men. He has an extremely versatile build being able to play any position from the 1 through to the 3 and perform well at those positions; but his primary position is as an off-guard. He possesses fantastic ball handling skills and a nice jump shot to pair along with his accurate and superb passing abilities. Marquis dedicates himself to his studies just as much as he dedicates himself to his basketball. His work ethic is derived from his love for the game and his desire to be the best player he can become and the skills he possesses right now would make him a very valuable player for a college basketball program. His strong aspects include his ability to hit the open jump shot and attack the basket hard which creates options for his teammates. His defensive ability is on par as he relentlessly contributes on both ends of the floor. His athleticism, quickness, and strength make him a formidable guard that can play the point or the shooting guard. His competitiveness always keeps him striving for the best and this allows him to be the great player he is. Get in touch with this gifted student-athlete for your 2018 recruiting class needs.
